ORECCHINI IN FILIGRANA / PAPER FILIGREE EARRINGS

La carta può essere lavorata sino a trasformarsi in splendida filigrana: è un processo di lavorazione lunghissimo e accurato. La carta deve essere tagliata, dipinta e poi lavorata in decorazioni e assemblata. Viene poi dipinta ancora, incollata e lucidata. Nonostante la fragile apparenza, grazie al lungo processo di lavorazione, i gioielli divengono molto rigidi e resistenti. 

Paper can be worked and turned into amazing filigree: this is quite a long process, maybe the longest. Paper must be cut first, then painted and eventually worked in decorations and assembled. Then painted again, glued and varnished. It can take even up to 20 hours for a pair of these earrings. Despite fragile appearance, because of working process, these jewels are very resistant.
